Emma's class took a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch on Thursday. It was wet, cold and stormy, but she managed to find just the right pumpkin. Everyone else had chosen their pumpkin and Emma continued to wander the patch looking for just the right one. Unfortunately, "Dad and Me Pumpkin Carving" was cancelled Thursday night due to the storm so we carved them at home last night instead. She had fun deciding what type of face each one should have.
Last weekend, we went to Jeff's parents to celebrate birthdays. Bapa has been growing pumpkins as well. Throughout the summer and fall, Emma has been watching them grow and had already staked claims on the ones she wanted. Of course she decided she wanted the big one and Luke could take the smallest one.
