On Saturday, we were able to celebrate Mother's day with both of our moms (aka Nana and Mimi). My family has had a tradition for years where my mom, aunt Susie, Katrina, Amy and I getting together. It started with us attending my parent's church for a mother's day tea many years ago, my grandma's would come as well. After one Grandma got to the point where she couldn't hear well, we started having tea at my mom's house instead. Once Grandma Low passed away, we started doing happy hour/lunch at a local restaurant. (I'm not sure how we went from tea to happy hour but I like happy hour MUCH better since I don't drink tea!) :) This year we added in a pedicure before happy hour. My brother's both play in an Alumni golf tournament that day so my dad and Jeff stay with the other kids and then we all meet up for appetizers later in the evening.
Here are some pictures from that day - my kids LOVE playing with their cousins and are lucky to have them! They all play well with each other and have the best time. They literally disappear for much of the day when we are together, having a great time with each other.
I hope all of you had a wonderful Mother's Day... ours was relaxing and I refused to clean my house even though it needed to be done. (Guess what I'm doing today?!) Jeff made breakfast, we hung out at home, I got my planting finished up and we went out for Mexican food for dinner. Yummy! We are extremely fortunate to have both of our mother's and all of the love and support they show us and our kids. Here are some pictures from my parent's house, Jeff didn't take any pictures at his parents so we don't have a current picture of the kids with Nana to post. Happy Mother's Day to everyone!

Also, thanks a million for the idea about the short bookshelf! We love the idea of having a place to not only store things inside but also on top! Brilliant! I told you that you were good at this!! :)
