Luke has always loved bikes. Before he could even walk, he'd crawl over to Emma's bike so he could play with the wheels. We got him a trike for Christmas, and have a small bike that belonged to Drew as well. Unfortunately, he's about an inch away from being able to reach the pedals on both. When we went camping, he sat on a bike that was much bigger than his, and could almost pedal. We realized, his trike and bike both have the pedals up front, under the front tire instead of in the middle of the bike where most pedals are located. So, this weekend, our neighbor gave him their old bike and within 10 minutes, he was off and riding! He rides pretty quickly and can steer and everything! He is SO proud of himself and loves it. Today, he was riding on the back deck and he rode around the table, then was riding so quickly he rode right into the family room. (He of course thought that was very funny!) (Oh, and don't worry in case you were wondering... he has a helmet that he wears but I usually don't make him wear it when he's riding on the deck. I wasn't too into helmets until the other day when he was sitting on his other bike and went down the neighbor's steep driveway and thought it was fantastic fun. He didn't fall but I realized since he is a daredevil, he needs to wear a helmet!!)

That's so fun! I will have to remember that one when we get into bikes...we're still on trikes right now but I know the time will be soon.
Can't wait to see you on Thursday! I got a new wagon at a garage sale on Saturday that I think will work great! :)
Wow, Sarah, he is such a BOY! I can imagine now all the sports he is going to do - Jeff better get ready now to do all that coaching! ;) My boys are going to get bikes within the next few weeks, we shall see how it goes! Oh, I love Luke's Crocs. Drew has the same ones!
