We've had our cat, Java, since a couple of years after we got married. Emma and Luke love her, but have never been able to choose a pet of their own. Emma started asking for a fish a few months ago so on Friday evening, Emma and I ventured to the pet store and she picked out "the most beautiful fish in the whole world!!" She also had fun picking the bowl and accessories - they are pink of course! :) She named her fish Aurora (I know, shocker!) and loves to watch her swim around and thought feeding it today was fun as well.
We're keeping our fingers crossed that Luke doesn't try to pet the fish, and so far, he's been good about just looking. Lets hope it stays that way!

Welcome to the family, Aurora! Sadie's fish, Violet, has since left us, but he was such a great addition to the family and taught some good lessons on responsibility! How fun!
