Merry Christmas! (A little delayed...)

I have to start by saying I know this post is a little delayed, I've been on winter break for almost 3 weeks now and I still didn't manage to post any Christmas pictures during that time!! I am not looking forward to going back to work on Tuesday, but, am thankful that I only work part-time so I try not to complain! I am also thankful I chose a profession which allows me to spend so much time with my kids because I think I would go insane if I weren't able to be home like I am. As much as being snowbound was frustrating at times, and all of us were definitely sick of being stuck in the house, the four of us had a wonderful time at home. For the first time ever, Jeff was home with us over vacation. He was planning on taking Christmas Eve through New Year's off but with snow that hit, a normally hour and a half drive to work meant he decided to stay home for the week before Christmas as well.

Christmas in our house means two very long days, from about 11:00 - 9:00. We spend Christmas Eve at my parents house with my brothers and their families and my aunts/uncles/grandma join us for dinner. We wake up Christmas morning and do our own Christmas before heading to Jeff's parents for brunch and dinner. The kids had a blast! We are extremely thankful that both sides of the family live nearby because we love that the kids can be home in our house on Christmas morning and also that we get to spend a day with both sides of the family! I can't imagine having it any other way.
