Mt. Rainier... Cougar Rock!

We spent last weekend camping at Cougar Rock Campground at Mt. Rainier with two sets of friends. It'd been 10 years since we'd been to Mt. Rainier, the last time was when Jeff and I were newly dating and we went with his family. It was absolutely beautiful on Saturday! We took a hike to Carter Falls. Luke was tired and didn't do too well on the way up but galloped on the way down. Emma was a champ! She wore crocs on the way up, and flip flops on the way down and was in the lead the entire way. :) We hiked to a beautiful waterfall and then headed back to camp. Later in the day, we took a shuttle bus up to Paradise and looked around there. The scenary was absolutely beautiful!!

The kids Riding Bikes

Every night they had a "Junior Ranger Talk" The kids loved learning new info. about the mountain!

Our broken down shuttle bus... it

Cougar Rock campground and Mt. Rainier are so much fun! I'm glad you had good weather. It can be kind of sketchy there. :)
